Keeping track of time is important when you are a freelancer, when your team has to account for the time spent working on a project, when you run a small business and you want to ensure you get the most from your employees. A wizard will help you install TimePunch PRO. Said wizard invites you to choose one of several setup types: Office PC (record your work time), Studio PC (record the work time of various users), Secretary PC (manage employees work time), and Customized.

Once the wizard is done with the Office PC setup type, you will be presented with the TimePunch Database Assistant. It will ask what you want to do: create a new TimePunch database, open an existing TimePunch database, or migrate an existing TimePunch database to the current version. It will also ask to choose the database source; data can be stored in the TimePunch database or in Microsoft SQL Server.

There are two TimePunch editions to choose from. There’s TimePunch One, which is meant for self-employed professional or freelancers. And there’s TimePunch PRO, which is meant for enterprises. As expected, the PRO version has more functionality to offer: PC, mobile, and terminal time tracking, time sheets, project management, public holiday calculation and vacation planning, staff administration, reports, and other useful features are offered by TimePunch PRO.
